Rappers Azealia Banks and Remy Ma are embroiled in a fierce battle on social media.

212 singer Banks, 26, took issue with All The Way Up rhymer Ma, 37, after she was quoted saying rap was 'nothing but tumbleweeds' after her release from jail in 2014.

The ever-opinionated rapper took to Instagram to argue, captioning Remy's original quote with a pointed retort that said: 'It's not 2000. Battle rapping is dead.'
